Making Two Colors Appear As One

This assignment required making three boards with Josef Albers Interaction of Color principles. When placing one color on two different colored background, the main color would look different. The saturation of the background and the hue of the background played a big role in the outcome of how the main color would look. For example if you wanted to take purple out of your main color you would put it on a purple color. If you wanted to add purple to your color you would place it on a yellow background which would bring out purple because it's its opposite color. The hardest one for me was making one color two different colors. I could have fixed that with more of a yellow background rather than the orange one I chose.
